THE LAST CALIPH

HOW SHOULD WE AS BELIEVERS IN YASHUA WALK BEFORE ELOHIM.

We are commanded to celebrate the Passover in 1 Corinthians 5:7. For Messiah, our passover lamb has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival,...
For everything there  is a season, and we have seen that the Lord Yashua has fulfilled the first four appointed special times. Three are yet  to be filled...
Having been redeemed by Elohim's dear son Yashua. By his blood at the cross, how should we walk at Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement...

As we walk in the current priesthood of Melchizedek many questions arise. One is about our redemption in Yashua. As believers we have already received forgiveness for All of our sins, how is it that many so-called messianic leaders now demand that we celebrate yom kippur as if we never received our atonement at the cross. They will tell us of the need to follow the Torah. I, for one, will follow Torah as it applies to the changes that are spoken of in the Brit Chadasha/New Testament. As the scriptures plainly state, Hebrews 10:15 ; for this reason Messiah is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, NOW that he has died as a ransom to SET THEM FREE from the sins committed under the first covenant. From this one scripture we can see that the sins of the people under the old covenant could not be removed only covered until the time of Messiah. Hebrews 7:11.  If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood, for on the basis of it the law was given to the people, why was there still need of another priest to come - one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? VS.12 For where there is a change of the priesthood there must also be a change of the law.

WHAT IS THE CHANGE OF THE LAW?
The above scripture says it all for those who have been called to the priesthood of Melchizedek. This priesthood has no end, just as the High Priest Yashua will serve eternally in the true heavenly realm. Matthew 25 comes to mind as we see the five who were/are foolish and the five who were/are wise. I am of the opinion that the foolish are those who have left the true faith in Yashua the only true atonement for mankind. Let me quote from the rabbi's of old.  Ancient Confirmations: Rabbi Tanchuma said in the name of Rabbi Samuel," Eve had respect to that Seed which is coming from another place. And who is this? This is the Messiah, the King." -- Midrash Rabbah 23 Let's see if there were more ancient sages who looked for the soon coming/ returning King. As it has been said, " God nameth the King Messiah with His own name." --Midrash Thillim 21:2  And another sage said, " What is the name of King Messiah? To this answered Rabbi Abba bar Kahana: " Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey is His name, for it is written: this is the name whereby He shall be called." -- Midrash Echa 1:51 And again, " As thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people by the hand of the Messiah the Son of David." -- Rabbi David Kimchi. And as we continue... Rabbi Elijah de Vidas is quoted, " The meaning of " He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities" is that since the Messiah bears our iniquities, which would produce the effect of His being bruised, it follows that whoever will not admit that the Messiah suffered for our iniquities must endure and suffer for them himself."  And Rabbi Moshe Alshekh is quoted, " Rabbis with one voice, accept and affirm the opinion that the prophet is speaking of King Messiah." Wow, Rabbis with one voice accept and affirm that the Messiah of whom the prophet Isaiah is speaking of, is the true atonement for our sins. How is it that now we have so-called rabbinic leadership that say we need to understand that the scriptures don't really say that? Well try telling that to these men who are well versed in every aspect of Torah and talmudic study. I say to those who read these posts, watch out for liars who have left the true way of the Messiah. Those who walk in the way of the evil one and echo the sayings of the snake from the tree in the garden of eden, " Did God really say." May the true love of our Messiah continue in you until that day of His appearing, shalom.   Tzuriel (Rock)
